Finding the Right Resources
Finding affordable qualified licensed professional counselors can be difficult, especially with limited energy.
Depression and anxiety can often prevent someone from asking for help or taking the steps needed to get the help they need.
We understand that, so PHQ aims to make it a little easier for you.

We have removed a number of steps to hopefully help you get started. A few online counseling services, and behavioral/mental health provider search links for a few large insurance networks are included in the site to help you find affordable (whether subscription-based or in-network) high-quality care.
While we want to support you in finding your resources, we also trust you to do what is necessary to keep yourself safe. We are not mental health professionals or medical providers. Should you need counseling assistance, there is a free, 24/7 private and confidential phone line that connects individuals in crisis with trained counselors across the United States. You do NOT have to be suicidal to call this prevention line. Reasons to call can include, but are not limited to:
-
Substance abuse
-
Economic worries
-
Relationship issues
-
Sexual identity
-
Recovering from abuse
-
Depression
-
Mental and physical illness
-
Loneliness
-
and more...
